In the Facsimile of an Entry in the Births Register for Henry's brother Patrick, the eight older children are named, but the one born in 1869 is called William, not Henry. See Henry CHRIMES b.abt1880 Australia for the possibiity of a second marriage and children. Henry's Marriage Certificate for his marriage to Jane Christina BURGESS has been submitted by Stephen PARKER. Henry served with the 5th Victorian Mounted Rifles in the 2nd Anglo-Boer War in 1901-1902. I cannot find a record of Henry's marriage to Annie May GEORGE, but it is presumed to have occured. A full report (original documents) of the Inquest into Henry's death is available online at FamilySearch.org. It shows that Henry was admitted to Yarra Bends Hospital for the Insane, which is where he died, of "Cystitis, Suppurative Nephritis and General Paralysis of the Insane". It also gives Henry's religion as "Roman Catholic". Henry died intestate. |
