From the newspaper notice of his 1937 marriage: "Mr. Crymes is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C [sic] Crymes, of Greenwood. He is an honor graduate of Clemson College and now holds a responsible position as head chemist of the Gregg dye plant, a unit of the Graniteville Manufacturing Company." Frank Hodges served in the US Army in WWII. From the Find-a-Grave record: "He was a 1931 graduate of Clemson University. He was retired general sales manager of Nitric Acid Division of Hoechst Company. He was a member of Routh Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War II." |
