In 1841 Peter was age 24, still living with his mother. From The Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser of 8 May 1847: "MARRIAGES - On the 5th inst., at the Parish Church, Warrington, by the Rev. Mr. Bridgham, Mr. Peter Chrimes to Miss Hannah Litton, second daughter of the late Thomas Litton, Esq., Sanky Hall, near Warrington." From The Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser of 22 December 1847: "On the 13th inst., at Warrington, Peter Chrimes, aged 30 years." Peter died just 7 months after his marriage. Peter left a will dated 10 Feb 1848, which I presume to be the date of proving. Peter appears on the Index to Death Duty Registers in 1848: 'Chrimes, Peter - Executor Joseph Chrimes, Warrington'. |
