Frank was admitted to Boughton British Mixed School, Chester on 1 April 1909. Frank was admitted to Guilden Sutton Church Of England Primary School on 23 March 1911. He left that school on 9 April 1914 "Gone to Cherry Grove". In 1921 Frank was 'Assisting Father at home'. CheshireBMD gives the location of the 1928 marriage as "Chester, Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended" but this may in fact have been a non-conformist (Methodist) ceremony.. From The Chester Chronicle of 30 November 1940: "The Free Church Council Young People's team visited Tarvin-road Methodist Chapel for the evening service on Sunday. Miss Betty Wilson conducted, and the lesons [sic] were read by Mr. Frank Crimes and Miss Gertrude Hughes..." Frank's Grant of Probate reads: "CRIMES, Frank of 3 Cecil St Chester died 30 Macrh 1977 Probate Sheffield 19 May £2792" |
