In the 1921 England Census, Hilda Ann, 'Head' of the household, was living with her mother-in-law Margaret Russell. In 1921 Hilda Ann was working on 'Own Account' at Blandford House, Blandford St., Sunderland. In the 1939 Register Hilda Ann was a widow. Hilda Ann's Grant of Probate reads: "PARTON Hilda Ann of 7 Woodside Sunderland widow died 21 May 1959 at The General Hospital Ryhope county Durham Probate Durham 23 July to Laura Webster spinster. Effects £271 13s." |
