Kenneth John was known as Ken. From The Cheshire Observer of 16 April 1949: "LOCAL WEDDINGS - Mr. K.J. CRIMES AND MISS M.J. TRUNDLE [PHOTOGRAPH] The wedding took place at All Saints' Church, Hoole, on Saturday, of Mr. Kenneth John Crimes, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Crimes, 73, Phillip-street, Hoole, and Miss Mary Josephine Trundle, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Trundle, of Dublin, Given away by Mr. P. Trundle, the bride wore an ice-blue two-piece suit with accessories to match. There were three bridesmaids, Misses M▮▮▮ Edwards, G▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ Trundle and K▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ Crimes, who wore pink dresses with brown accessories. Mr. E Crimes was best man. The reception was at the Kingsley Cafe, Chester, and the honeymoon is at Hastings." Kenneth John's notice of death from The Chester Standard reads: "CRIMES Kenneth John (Ken) 6th February 2017, peacefully with his loving family, aged 90 years. Much loved dad, grandad and uncle, he will be sadly missed by all. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 7th. March, 2017 at All Saints Parish Church, Hoole at 2:15 pm, followed by Committal at Chester Crematorium...." |
